Getting ideas from #Audi while waiting to do an oil change ...

Would love to fix lights like these before my next drive into the Canadian wilderness

I love the history and tradition at Audi. Isn't this a great rally car?

Itching to go on a road trip ...

Here are some Audi memories from recent road trips ...

Sunset in Montana, USA

Winter in the windy city

The awesome Columbia Icefield Glacier in the Canadian Rockies

Off the road somewhere in beautiful Montana, USA

Going-to-the-sun road, Glacier National Park, USA

... And I could go on, for the road never ends ...
... But there are miles to go before I sleep ...

Driving back from L'Anse aux Meadows

Sunset at Gros Morne National Park, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada

Happy road tripping, wherever you may drive!

#Cooking Green Beans with Coconut

After washing and draining, chop beans like shown in the picture below (my wife does this better than I do)

Heat a little oil, add mustard seeds, when they begin to pop, add onions and stir fry. When the onions turn slightly brown add chopped garlic and two dried red chillies, and fry for about a minute. Then add grated coconut and fry for another minute

Add the beans, a little salt, turmeric and cumin powder and mix well
(Btw, turmeric has been used in cooking for more than 4000 years)

Anyway, cook till the beans are just done. Do not overcook

Oh, here is something interesting - cumin is referred to in the old and new testaments of the Bible in Isaiah 28:27 and Matthew 23:23

Did you know that curcumin (the active ingredient in turmeric) has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that prevent cancer and arthritis?

#Poetry Reflections at Sunset

Reflections at Sunset

Not all sunsets are orange and red
Some are black and white
With a hint of blue, grey and pink instead
But when the day's colours fade, t'will be time to say good night

We rarely go out to eat Indian food ...

Because, the best is always served at home

Enjoy your dinner, whatever you are eating!
