#Faith #Life lessons I've learnt when going through difficult circumstances

I must stop focusing on helping myself, and focus on helping others instead
(this helps me realize that there are others with bigger problems than mine, and that I am blessed)

I must stop focusing on my weakness, and focus on Jesus's strength instead
(because only HE can help me)

Peter began to sink the moment he took his eyes off Jesus, and started focusing on the waves (problems) around him.

Replacing the right brake light bulb in the #Audi A4

The last time I replaced a brake light bulb in the A4 it was on the left side in March 2011

Now the right side brake light bulb has failed ...
The steps are the same as in the earlier post for the left side

It's freezing outside and feels like -18° C, so I've got to do this quickly
Open the boot (called a trunk in North America) and pry open the portion shown below adjacent to the light

Use a flat blade screwdriver gently loosen, and remove the screw with your fingers

On the left side is the screw we just removed, in the centre is a new bulb, and on the right is a flat blade screwdriver which is the only tool required

Gently remove the rear light assembly by sliding it out of the two slots (do it with both hands if you don't have to take photographs like I'm doing here)

The white and the dark grey portions shown below need to be separated to access the bulb(s)

Gently lift and slide the tabs on either side to separate

By now my fingers are beginning to freeze .... but I'd never wear gloves to do this

Slide and separate the grey part from the white to reveal the bulbs

Get someone to turn on the ignition and check the brake lights if you want to make sure you're replacing the right bulb

Twist, remove and replace the bulb (the top right one shown below)

Check the bulb before fixing everything back

Remember to gently slide the assembly back into these two circular slots shown below

#Technology Testing the waterproof capability of my #mobile phone

This video was taken with a Sony Z1 built in compliance with IP 55/58 standards, protecting it against dust and water. Read the white paper here
Now I don't have to worry about my mobile phone getting wet, even while cooking

#Leadership Lessons I learnt from the Winter Olympics #Sochi2014

One of the most important qualities of a good leader, is to lead by example.

The real world leaders aren't the folks who avoided attending the Olympics because of various political agendas

The real world leaders are the athletes from every country.

They chose to represent their countries, participate and interact with people from other nations, after tirelessly striving to accomplish much for their people. They led by example with the true spirit of sportsmanship and patriotism.

Congratulations and thanks to all the athletes who took part in the 2014 Winter Olympics at Sochi, Russia

You are true leaders!

#Tea in a Teacup

Tea is made by pouring boiling or hot water over the leaves of the tea plant (Nothing else is tea ) Tea originated in China and the British brought it to India

Pour boiling water over tea leaves in a teapot (we got these tea leaves from friends in India who own tea estates. So it's really fresh)

Btw, there is no such thing as chai tea. In India, chai is the word for tea

A cup of tea made from tea bags tastes nothing compared to this

Have it with or without sugar, with or without cream ...

Drink tea from a tea cup not a coffee mug

#CIAS My favourite cars at the 2014 Canadian International Auto Show

Lotus

 Lamborghini

Ferrari

I love the old Subaru's. Had one when I was in the Middle East. They make great boxer engines

The Audi S3

That's the rear end of an Audi R8 V10 Twin Turbo

Isn't this a cool steering wheel?

This has to be the most beautiful (and unaffordable, for me) car on the planet

Spectacular!

Check out the McLaren P1 here

More Ferrari

And here is why I drive what I drive

That being said, here is my favourite of all the cars I saw today

Porsche GT3 Cup

If you love Porsche, check out the Gemballa Mirage GT

 Whatever you drive, drive safe!
