I didn't know that around 60% of the world's polar bears live in Canadian territory

Which means I must help protect them

What was your first car?

Here is mine

I started driving when I was three

#Relationship Grateful for the privilege of shaking hands and greeting a couple of hundred friends every now and then

Without being asked to, there is one place thousands of people go to voluntarily, on a holiday, around the world, to perform the hardest job, that they won't get paid for. And they all share the same interest

Can you guess what the job is and where that is?

"This is politics at its finest" - Stanley Motss (played by Dustin Hoffman)

Featuring Dustin Hoffman, Robert De Niro, Anne Heche, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Kirsten Dunst ...

...  and oh, with that awesome main title music played by Mark Knopfler (listen below),
Wag The Dog is surely one of my favourites (irrespective of what the film critics think)

Why I focus on #joy, not on #happiness

Happiness is an emotion, it is temporary

Joy is an attitude of the heart, it lasts forever

Have a great day!

#Wildlife Try telling a pigeon not to cross the yellow line

Pigeon on the railway track

Yes, that's the yellow line my friend

Casually strolling in the opposite direction of the train

Pigeons can fly, people cannot

#Cuisine #Cooking Good morning friends! ☺ How do you like your Omelette?

I bet there are fifty ways to make an omelette

This one is made with 6 eggs, 3 sliced grape tomatoes, half an onion, some Havarti cheese, chopped ham, freshly ground black pepper and salt

Takes less than 10 minutes to prepare and serves 4

And I bet there are several ways to fold and cut an omelette too!

Like this for example

Whichever way you like it, have a good morning and a great weekend

#Cooking #Cuisine Stir-frying strip loin

Frying potato and onion

Washing curry leaves

The meat is cooked with cumin powder, red chilly powder, turmeric, garlic, ginger, green chilly, onions, black pepper, cinnamon, cloves, vinegar and salt before adding the potato, onions and curry leaves

How this is cooked (process) is more important than what goes into it (ingredients)
Come home for a live demo

Whatever you are eating, enjoy youre meal!

As much as I enjoy eating it elsewhere, truth is, my wife cooks the best biriyani

In melted butter she's frying dried raisins, onions and cashew nuts

From Persia, the Middle East, to Asia, everyone cooks biriyani differently ...

Freshly chopped onions, cucumber, green chillies, ginger and yoghurt

Chutney made from ground coconut, green chillies and fresh mint leaves

Wine is not native to Asia and probably the best wine that goes well with spicy food such as this, is  Gewürztraminer (chilled well of course)

Quick Avocado Salad

Chop up half an onion, add a teaspoon of water and a dash of salt and microwave in a teacup for 35 seconds (this is to remove the pungency in the onion). Meanwhile, cut up a partially ripe avocado, add the onions, a little cream and squeeze the juice from a quarter fresh lime

Fold, do not mix

Total time from start to taste - 90 seconds

#Dessert Why I don't have to buy Tiramisu

My wife makes the best Tiramisu!

All I have to do is get the Kahlúa

Mascarpone cheese, ladyfingers ...
