Went for an evening walk with my friend, and guess what we saw ...

The ground is still wet and it's a slippery slope down a few hundred feet ...

We briefly interrupted this Coopers Hawk while it was having dinner ...

... not quite sure what's between its feet,
but it certainly is precious food for the hawk!

Saw nine white-tailed deer very well camouflaged among the dry trees

Looking for anything green they can find for food

See the different positions of the ears as it listens to the click sound of the camera

Have a good week!

♫ Rewinding back to 1974, and listening to some great songs by Olivia Newton-John

"And you shouldn't blow the chance,
When you've got the chance to say,
I love you"

Starting the day with prayer, and a nice hot cup of lemongrass, ginger tea

"Father, thank you for another day in your world.
Guide me in my thoughts, words and actions,
And protect us all from harm and danger,
Use me for your purpose"

Fresh lemongrass, ginger and black tea (Orange pekoe)

You can add a twist of lemon or some cream and sugar if you prefer!

(Btw, for me prayer is a two way conversation with GOD,
So there is also listening and discerning along with words, thoughts and actions)

Have a great day!

♬ "And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: ..." 1 Timothy 3:16

What a beautiful song!

"And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles,
believed on in the world, received up into glory" - 1 Timothy 3:16

Music composed by Radomir Nowotarski and sung by Agnieszka Krauz-Nabielec

Learning to cook Lau Thai from our Vietnamese friend

Our friend brought her kitchen over to our dining table to teach us how to cook Lau Thai

We love seafood!

You need this mobile tabletop stove

Turning up the heat ...

And if you think it isn't hot enough, you can add more of this

These elephants have nothing to do with the dish ...
Just reminds us of another place and time!

Dip the seafood in ...

... wait a few seconds ...

... and serve!

Food and friendship go well together, no matter what the cuisine!

My favourite license plate at the show. Spent some time chatting with the officers!

Thanks to Audi Canada who invited us to attend the show, we were able to have some refreshments and also a view of the Audi stable from above!

Journey of the Zebra

Journey of the Zebra

Black with white stripes or white with black stripes,
On the journey does colour really matter?
How different in our genotypes, yet similar in our stereotypes,
Black or white, side by side how beautiful, let's continue with the canter.
