White-throated Sparrow in the Bird Bath

Although the cardinals and the finches were well looked after,

The mourning doves, sparrows, and juncos 

Were running out of bird seeds in their bird feeder.

And with the virus pandemic related lockdowns, 

The usual stores wouldn't sell an 18 kilo bag of bird seeds online.

Finally RONA Canada came to the rescue.

It was so easy to order online, 
And we got 2 bags within 24 hrs, with quick curbside pickup.
The birds are happy!

And then came the White-throated sparrow 

with its distinct white crown and yellow lores!
That's another bird to add to our list

Ready to splash in the bird bath

With my camera, 

I'm still learning how to capture those drops of splashing water

The lores of the white-throated sparrow turn bright yellow

in preparation for the breeding season?
