Saving a juvenile grackle from heat stress

It felt like 40 °C.
Stepped outside and saw this juvenile grackle lying on its side in the grass. It was alive, and breathing fast. It could barely stand. Inspected it, it was not injured externally.

Quickly turned on the hose, and got my daughter to take a video on her phone.

Fed it a few drops of water, placed it in the shade, and prayed that it would live.

30 minutes later, lo and behold, it hopped around, and flew away!
