If you think it is easy meeting neighbours, try ringing their door bell :-)

Found a wallet on the sidewalk. From the drivers licence in it (there are two different ones) got the address. Turns out to be a few houses away. So neighbours. Went over. Rang the bell. No response

Went again a few minutes later. Rang the bell. No response. Wrote and left a note on my business card providing my mobile number for them to call, website and home address for them to visit. All this was yesterday. Still no calls. No visits.

Today, went over again. Rang the bell. No response. Surely someone is at home. Car in the driveway. Rang the bell again. Waited a few minutes. No response. One more time. Still no response. Went home, wrote another note on my business card. Put it in an envelope. Placed it in their mailbox with it sticking out (visible from far away). Still no response.

If I don't receive any phone calls or have any visitors in the next few hours, then please go to your nearest police station and collect your wallet from them. Happy weekend!

Now imagine if Jesus was trying to get across to me with something important for me, and I am unavailable and I don't respond
