♫ Art always serves beauty, and beauty is the joy of possessing form - Boris Pasternak, Doctor Zhivago

"And form is the key to organic life since no living thing can exist without it"
- Boris Pasternak, Doctor Zhivago

For those who haven't watched this movie, Doctor Zhivago is a 1965 classic featuring Omar Sharif, Julie Christie and Alec Guinness.
Music by Maurice Jarre

One of the most beautiful movies in my collection!

#Art #Painting Muskoka Chair

Also known as the Adirondack chair, it is usually made with eleven flat pieces of wood and was first designed by Thomas Lee over a hundred years ago while vacationing in the Adirondack Mountains.

We enjoyed a cup of tea several years ago while sitting on these chairs at a friends trailer

#Technology #Behaviour ♕ Love how the computer goes nuts when it is losing a game of chess :-)

(Btw, I'm just an average player, who plays chess on the train)

When the computer sees a threat, it behaves quite human by threatening my Knight ♞  and King

Never mind threats, and never underestimate the value of a pawn, it may end up as a Queen

One more move to Checkmate!

#Barbecuing Fiery Hot Shrimp

Marinade black tiger shrimp and white shrimp for six hours in a mixture of salt, Kashmiri chilli powder, turmeric, fresh crushed garlic, soy sauce, clove and cinnamon powder.

Arrange the shrimp on wood skewers as shown below

There are three shrimp on a stick - the large one is a black tiger shrimp from India and the two smaller ones are white shrimp from China (they look like seahorses on a stick)

Turn over and baste with a little oil ...

Invite your friends over, and enjoy!

#Wildlife Night of the Raccoons

As I switched off the lights and turned to the window, I saw a silhouette of something walking on a  branch on the tree outside ...

Got the camera and quickly went outside. Feels like -7 degrees C tonight and the snow mostly frozen glistened in the faded moonlight ...

Two Raccoons ...

Hiding ...

As I write this, I can hear them outside. They sound like monkeys and hey wait ...

There are now four of them!!

Good night!
