Painting Saint Mary Lake and Wild Goose Island, Montana

When driving Going-to-the-Sun Road in Glacier National Park in Montana,
we stopped briefly to quietly absorb the breathtaking view of the distant Rocky Mountains,

This is the largest painting I've done till now.

30" x 40" oil painting on canvas.

Replacing the rear brakes in the Audi A3

The first time I replaced brakes in this car was at 102,000 kilometres about 5 years ago!

Now replacing the rear brakes at 190,699 kilometres.

The front brakes still have more life,
so won't be replacing them yet.
Here's one of the rear discs.

How many kilometres do your brakes last?

Listening to Òran na Cloiche and painting Boats at Englishtown, Nova Scotia

When driving from Sydney, Nova Scotia,
towards the Cabot Trail,
you'll pass by a small coastal fishing community
which is one of the oldest settlements in North America!

This is Englishtown

And I'm listening to this beautiful Scottish Gaelic song by Kathleen MacInnes!

Listening to Gordon Lightfoot and painting Boat House at Maligne Lake, Jasper, Alberta

Home to the Caribou, the Moose and the Harlequin ducks,
and nestled in the majestic Canadian Rockies in Jasper National Park,
is the very picturesque Maligne Lake!

On both our trips to Maligne Lake, it was cloudy, and grey,
and the mountain peaks were concealed in mystery
