Saw a robins nest too far away to get close to

And guess what, two little chicks waiting for their mother ...

The mother with fresh food

The little ones can hear the mother and are even more eager now

Feeding took less than 5 seconds and that's when they make the twittering sound (sorry, obscured by the leaves) ...

... and the mother was gone!

Last year a robin built its nest on the birch tree and I was able to get a closer look
