Hand painting a nest box with mud

This is nest box 2. 

Last week I modified an old bird feeder and got some robins interested.

Drilling a circular opening for the main entrance

Drilling smaller angular openings for ventilation

If I was a bird, I'd say it's too bright and artificial ... 

... so need to make it more crude and natural ...
