Barbecued Chicken Curry

Marinade chicken overnight in a mixture of yoghurt, turmeric powder, Kashmiri chilly powder, ground ginger, garlic, clove powder, cardamom powder, cinnamon powder, a little vinegar and salt



Barbecue the chicken till 90% done ... remember to keep the leftover marinade mixture




Fry onions till golden brown, add dried red chillies and star anise


Add the leftover marinade and cook for a few minutes, then  add fresh chopped tomatoes and cook for a few more minutes. Add salt to taste


Add the chicken and cook till it is 100% cooked


Add dried fenugreek leaves for flavour and cook for less than a minute




Believe it or not, the chicken tastes best ... 


... eaten the next day!
