#FamilyTime Afternoon hike with the family

The branches are brown and bare, and the chipmunk and squirrels are out

The stillness of the Carolinian forest was broken by the sound of this giant woodpecker (about half a mile away)

A few weeks from now, this place will be so colourful 

But for now, it's just green and brown
